In 1985, a concert was organised to
support ARMS (Action for Research into Multiple Sclerosis) and
provide support for Ronnie Lane. The concert at Fulham Town Hall
was based on a concept from Bill Wyman with a 1950s rock 'n roll
show. The band featured Bill Wyman, Andy Fairweather-Low,
Charlie Watts, Mickey Gee and Geriant Watkins. Also involved
were Ronnie Wood, Kenney Jones, John Entwistle, Mel
Collins, Chris Rea, Terry Taylor, Raf Ravenscroft and Henry Spinetti. Ringo Starr featured as the janitor. The DVD also includes a "making
of" documentary and interviews with Kenney Jones, John Entwistle,
Ringo Starr, Gary Brooker, Ronnie Wood and Bill Wyman. |
