The Small Faces launched All or Nothing on ITV's Ready Steady Go on 5 August 1966. The group played both Understanding and a live version of All or Nothing. Unfortunately no recording was made of the show.

All or Nothing became the UK' number 1 single on 15 September 1966, displacing the Beatles' Yellow Submarine / Eleanor Rigby. It remained in the top position for one week.
