Clocking Off

Series 3, episode 4 of the BBC Northern drama Clocking Off has a brief moment of Lazy Sunday.

Dateline Diamonds

Dateline Diamonds features the original Small Faces in a feature film. With Jimmy Winston on guitar the group appear miming to their second single, I've Got Mine.

2014 film staring Johnny Owen and Vicky McLure. Includes Small Faces' Don't Burst My Bubble amongst lots of other great tracks.

Made in Dagenham

A dramatisation of the 1968 strike at the Ford Dagenham car plant, where female workers walked out in protest against sexual discrimination. Includes Small Faces singing All or Nothing.

King of Thieves

2018 film with all-star cast based on the Hatton Garden robbery. Includes Small Faces singing What'Cha Gonna Do About It.

The Men Who Stare at Goats

2009 film starring George Clooney, Jeff Bridges, Ewan McGregor and Kevin Spacey. A reporter in Iraq meets a former member of the New Earth Army. The film features Itchycoo Park.

My Generation

Superb 2018 documentary about the 1960s includes Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake and Here Come The Nice.

White Teeth

TV adaptation of Zadie Smith novel includes Lazy Sunday, Tin Soldier and Happy Boys Happy. Lazy Sunday is included on the soundtrack album.

Good Vibrations

This superb film about the "punk" scene in Northen Ireland and the Good Vibrations record label features Tin Soldier.

 

Small Faces on TV

  • Sha La La La Lee was included in Christmas 2021 edition of Call the Midwife on BBC1.

  • The Great Pottery Throwdown often includes Small Faces tracks alongside other 1960s classics. Almost Grown is regularly featured. Grow Your Own, Don't Stop What You're Doing, Lazy Sunday and Hey Girl have also been featured.
