The Heron is flying again
Dates are to be announced for Mike Heron and
Lawson Dando for 2002. The tour with Vashti Bunyan appears to have been
cancelled. Unique Gravity is planning to re-release Mike's Casablanca album
in the near future.

Gems of Celtic Story 3
This is a new CD that features Robin Williamson's
performance of legendary Celtic myth The Two Battles of Moytura.
This is scheduled for release in December.

Acid Drops
Witches Hat is included on a new
compilation called Acid Drops featuring British psychedelic tracks from
1965-1969. Some great songs and unknowns on this compilation including Donovan's
Hurdy Gurdy Man.

The annual Record Collector survey of the most
collectable artists places the Incredible String Band at 424 down from 237 in
2000.

The Incredible String Band "official"
site is now up and running at www.incrediblestringband.com.
This should be the best source for news. The site also promises music and video
downloads although this facility is not available yet.

The Best of The Incredible String Band
The first of the two ISB compilations is due for
release on June 11 2001. This covers the years 1966-1970.

Dates for Your Diary
The Bloomsbury Theatre in London is rapidly
becoming the home of the Incredible String Band and the group has announced two
dates for the beginning of August. More dates have been added in August.
The band played at Bergen in Norway in April. Can
anyone tell me the date?

String Band compilation CDs. These include some tracks not previously available
on CD and others where the original CD is now deleted.
